From June 3 to 7, 2019, the 99th plenary session of the Technical Committee on safety of household and similar electrical appliances (IEC / TC61) of the International Electrotechnical Commission was held in Brad, Slovenia.
Agenda schedule
Nearly 100 industry experts from 27 countries participated in the meeting. The Chinese delegation was led by Ma Shengnan, deputy director of the food and consumer goods division of the standard technology management department of the State Administration of market supervision and administration, and Zhao JinFang, an official of the IEC Liaison Office of the standard innovation management department, with a total of 15 people.
Mr. Tang Hongzhao, representative of Guangzhou Southstar Machine Facilities Co., LTD., is also in the Chinese expert group. After five days of meeting, representatives of various countries discussed the proposal to revise the international standard of commercial electric rinsing tank submitted by China commercial electric sub committee to the general assembly for consideration. Through the efforts of our expert group, this proposal has successfully entered the stage of FDIs (draft international standard).
TThe formulation process of international standards organization (ISO) standards is divided into five steps: working draft (WD), committee draft (CD), draft international standard (DIS) Final draft international standard (FDIS) and officially issued international standard (is)
FDIS is the fourth stage, the draft stage of international standard edition. After the member states vote, the standard can be officially released.
